Report a Concern or Incident
Thank you for reaching out about any concerns or incidents that you observed or experienced.
We know it takes courage and vulnerability to speak out. Your voice is essential to the well-being of our community. Rest assured that no one has ever been asked to leave our community because they reported a concern. Also, nothing gets swept under the rug, ever.
Who can file a report?
Whether this incident happened to you, you were witness to it yourself, or you would like to self-report, we encourage all members to speak up with any concerns.
While we do accept anonymous reports, please understand that without the ability to speak to you directly about the report over a call, we may be limited in the actions we can take.
What can be reported?
Any incident, whether it occurs within or outside of Top Floor's digital or physical spaces, may be reported.
We encourage members to report anything they would like to have documented, even if the incident did not take place at a Top Floor event or within our online spaces.
For incidents that occur within Top Floor's digital or physical spaces, a single report may be sufficient for us to investigate and take action under our policies, depending on the nature and severity of the incident.
For incidents that occur outside of Top Floor's spaces, our ability to take immediate or formal action may be more limited. In many cases, a single report of an external incident may not be sufficient for us to take action, particularly when the incident cannot be independently verified or does not involve law enforcement or judicial findings.
Even so, external reports are still important and strongly encouraged. These reports are taken seriously, handled confidentially, and kept on record because they help us identify patterns over time. When multiple independent reports are received involving the same individual, even if those incidents occurred outside of Top Floor, we may be able to take steps to protect the community.
Reporting is never wasted. Each report contributes to our understanding of risk and may become relevant in future situations that fall within our purview. Reporting helps us uphold safety, accountability, and care within the community.
What happens after I file?
Your report goes directly to our Consent Director who will respond to your report within 48–72 hours, via email, inviting you to schedule a call to begin the incident investigation. This 1:1 call with our Consent Director is the next step in the process after submitting a report.
When the incident falls within our purview, and if you give your consent to move forward, we will reach out to any witnesses as well as the person named in the report to discuss the incident and share education and any accountability action steps they must take, wherever applicable. Once the process is complete, you will be invited to an optional wrap up call to update you on how we proceeded with your case.
Who has access to my report?
All reports filed are confidential and stored securely. Access is granted to our Consent Director who manages all cases as well as Alain (Founder & Host) and Katie (Chief of Staff), who work closely with the Consent Director (Arielle) throughout the incident reporting process.
Additionally, we work with an independent auditor and harm reduction specialist, Jared Skolnick (jared.skolnick@gmail.com), who audits our cases each quarter.
To raise concerns about Alain or Katie, who would otherwise review these reports, please instead email Jared directly.
If you prefer to contact the Consent Director directly: arielle@thepleasureproducer.com
If you are on the fence about reporting and would like to speak to one of our aftercare specialists, you can schedule a brief meeting with Jillian here or with Diana here. Please note, this service is not psychotherapy.
If you have any questions or concerns about the process, please reach out to reports@topfloorclub.com.
